Aquatic Center Hours

The new San Leandro Family Aquatic Center features a water play area with three small childrens slides, plenty of spraying and falling water, and a 119-foot circular water slide. The childrens area is shallow enough that a two year-old can navigate all of it, including the small slides. Children can take as much time as they want to get accustomed to the water as there is a very easy gradient from the "shore."

Since the hours of operations aren't on the City's web site yet, here are the current hours:

As of April 21, 2007, the Center is open on Saturday from 1pm until 6:30pm and Sunday from 12pm to 5:30pm. Admission is $4 per person.

Summer hours will begin on June 16, 2007, when the center will also be open Monday through Friday from 1pm to 4:45 pm.

The Aquatic Center and park are located at 14900 Zelma St. in San Leandro. The nearest public transportation is AC Transit's 84 line, which gets within three blocks of the Aquatic Center.
