Marrow Donor Registration Drive for Local Boy

Harrison Leonardo
A marrow donor registration drive will take place at Creekside Church on Saturday, January 27, 2007, from 8am to 1:30pm.

Harrison Leonardo is a two-year old boy from San Leandro who is fighting Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) and needs a bone marrow transplant to survive. Harrison spent most of 2006 fighting cancer, which went into remission in August. Unfortunately, the cancer has relapsed. Harrison is hospitalized and undergoing another round of chemotherapy while his doctors and family search for a donor.

To donate, you must be between the ages of 18-60, meet the health guidelines, fill out a form, give a cheek cell swab and be willing to donate to any patient in need.
