On Friday, August 11, 2006, Amy Hong Ma, 36, and her children, Amanda Lauren Lew, 9, and Alec Bernard Einhaus, 7, were killed when their sport utility vehicle overturned near Winnemucca, Nevada. Ma's husband, Wallace Woo, was injured and was taken to Humboldt General Hospital.
